Clear Government Solutions, Inc. (CGS) has appointed John Kraft as CEO. The 25 year industry veteran of Web and Telecom Infrastructure/Services for federal and commercial industries will lead the company’s expansion in the federal Cloud Computing arena.
“The dramatic cost-savings and flexibility driven by cloud-based services combined with the Federal government’s Cloud First mandate is fueling a wave of demand for Federally-compliant cloud infrastructure services,” said Kraft. “With its Federal IT certifications and Blanket Purchase Awards in place, CGS is uniquely well positioned to help Federal agencies achieve their technology goals, and to capitalize on this rapidly growing and very strategic market.”
Prior to joining CGS, John served as the President, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of ServerVault, where he designed the company’s go to market strategy, built the executive team and led the company to an annual growth rate exceeding 35%, culminating in the company’s successful sale to Carpathia Hosting in 2009.
In the past, John also served as President and COO of the $1B U.S. enterprise and U.S. federal division of PSINet Inc., where he was an integral member of the executive team that led the growth of the company’s global IP network, 17 data centers and a broad portfolio of web hosting, Internet connectivity, and consulting services.
